On Memorial Day we went with our neighbor friends to
Nat-Soo- Pah… a natural hot-spring not too far from our house. Even though it
was a little bit of a chilly day to go swimming the water was warm and felt great!
(Yes, although huge and pregnant, I went swimming too!) The kids loved that
there was a water slide and Nathan spent the majority of the day taking Conner
and Jayden down it. Conner thought it was great when Nathan would get to the bottom
of the slide and would throw him as far as he could. The first time he did it I
thought that Conner would come up crying but instead he had a giant grin on his
face and said “next time throw me farther!”
Conner surprised us by asking to jump off of the diving
board. He didn’t want to start off with low one but went straight for the high
dive. He didn’t even hesitate; he climbed up the stairs and jumped right off! He
thought it was so much fun and jumped off over and over again. Jayden really
wanted to do it too but that is where I drew the line!
Afterwards we went over to our neighbors’ house for a BBQ. We
were planning on roasting smores but we got rained on and ate some yummy
dessert inside instead! We had such a fun day!
