Oh Christmas Tree.

This past week we went up to Stephanies families cabin in Island Park, where we spent a couple of days and cut down our Christmas tree. We left the cabin and had Thanksgiving at Stephs grandparents and it was very good. We then woke up at 3:30 in the morning to participate in Black Friday which was totaly crazy but we wre able to get everything that we tried to get and a few other things. We got most of our Christmas shopping done for cheap. Luckily we never got trampled or had anything stolen out of our hands, but we did talk to some people that had stuff taken from them by other people, people are so crazy to save a couple of bucks.
That is our most recent adventure.

Here we all are up at the cabin.

My father in law trying to get a little to close. Trying to intrude on my three feet of comfort zone.
Well this was the origainal tree we were going to use but we decided that 30 feet was a little to tall.

This is what later became our tree we just cut the top off of the tree.

Here is Steph decorating the tree for some reason the camera would only take fuzzy pictures maybe from all the tree lights.

Here is our completed tree.

26 Weeks and a baby shower to boot.

Here she is 26 weeks and counting. We can see him move now he pushes out her belly and rolls around. A couple of days ago I was pushing on Stephs stomach where he was and he would push back so we had our first father son bonding moment.

Here is Steph and her also prego sister Alissa who is 20 weeks along and finds out what she is having tomorrow. So our Conner will have a little cousin to play with on both sides since my other sister in law Lena is also pregnant and due four days before us.

This is my sis Whitney who threw the shower putting up streamers and Alissa handing over tape.

This is Stephs littlest sister Teresa and of course they are hovering around the food.
This would be one of the best parts the loot. Look how excited she is having all her freinds and family there to shower her with gifts for our unborn child.

Stephs mom and sisters and family and freinds, enjoying some festivities and food. The crazy thing is Chelsea looks like that all the time.

Thanks to everybody that came and for the gifts that were given and for those who gave of your time to put together this shower for our little child. He thanks you with a kick and a punch through moms belly.

Into The Wild!

Last Friday Steph and I released my big chichlid into the wild at the pond in the Benson science building. You see my fish is an aggressive African chichlid and he got so big that he killed everything else in my fish tank and anything that we put in with him he killed even fish of his own species if they were smaller. Fish his size are hard to find and really expensive, so instead of flushing him we found that there were chichlids in the pond in the Benson building. So Friday night around 10:00 P.M. we snuck into the buidling and put him in the pond with the other fish. there are some bigger than him and some smaller so he fits right in. Here are some pics of the realease.

He measures around 5"

We smuggled him in my back pack,
just after we put him in a security
guard came around the corner.
Here he goes into his new home. It was
either this or the toilet.

Just me saying good bye.

Here he is in his new home.
