We took the kids to the corn maze a couple of times and they had lots of
fun running around and choosing which way we should go. One of the times we went at night and we got pretty lost. Conner was worried that we may never make it out... don't worry we did! :)
We let the kids choose out their pumpkins at a pumpkin patch this year.
(With our help since Conner kept choosing ones that were too big to carry) We spent quite a bit
of time there because the kids were having so much fun! They had a little petting
zoo, a “corn pit”, a hay ride, and they were even able to launch corn on the
cob into a field.
We carved the pumpkins right before Halloween this year and the kids were
very involved. They liked to help daddy poke the pumpkin but weren’t big fans
of touching the inside goo.
Halloween was so much fun this year. Both kids were really excited to wear
their costumes and to go trick or treating. Jayden was a cute little One Eyed
Monster.
Conner was Iron man. For the whole month of October Conner kept
telling me that he wanted to be Elmo again this year. I kept trying to talk him
out of it because it is no fun to have him wear the same costume two years in a
row… but he was pretty adamant about it and refused any other costume I showed
him… until we were at Costco and I pointed out Iron man! When we showed up at
the ward party his best little buddy Easton had the exact same Iron man
costume. They loved matching and they were so cute!
We also took the kids to Conner’s preschool
Halloween party. They had tons of games for them to play to win treats and the
kids LOVED it. By Halloween night the kids were pro trick or treaters. Jayden
said “Thank you” every time he got a piece of candy and was off to the next
door. We were out a lot longer that we had planned because the kids didn't tire
out and were having the time of their life. We ended up with sooo much candy!
Oh darn! :)
